Anthony Campanelli, of Farmington, passed January 24, 2007, at his residence at the age of 76 years. He was born on November 3, 1930, at Camden, New Jersey, to the late Anthony and Rose (Pepirio) Campanelli. He was also preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Litten) Campanelli, and a son, Frank Campanelli. Mr. Campanelli owned and operated the Custom Guns and Ammo Shop for the last 25 years here in Farmington. He enjoyed interacting with the patrons and sharing his knowledge about guns. He is survived by two sons, Charles Campanelli and wife Suzan, of Farmington, Kenneth Campanelli and wife Sara, of Bonne Terre, a daughter, Sharon Garrigus, and husband Michael of Ste. Genevieve, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a sister, Angelina Materacky, of the state of New Mexico. Many other relatives and friends also survive. The family will receive friends at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 on Friday, January 26, 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel with the Rev. James Lacey officiating. Burial will follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to HospiceCare, Inc.
