Anne Mae Lucy passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at the age of 82 years, 4 months, and 25 days. She was born on January 31, 1931, at Annapolis, daughter of the late James Edwin and Della (Williams) Lewis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph A. Lewis, Sr. in 1991; a grandson, Eric Clifton Lewis; a great-granddaughter, Zoey Layne Leahy; five brothers, Carl Lewis, John Lewis, Gene Lewis, Eddie Lewis and Bobby Lewis; and five sisters, infant, Edwina Lewis, Opal Burns, Jan Cook, Helen Moyer and Kathy Shelton. Anne was a native of Annapolis and spent most of her adult life in the St. Louis area. In the 1980's she came back to spend retirement in the Ironton and Farmington area. In 2000 she married Paul Lucy whom she had known all of her life. She enjoyed home decorating as a hobby and also liked to travel. Her family was her passion and she enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Paul; four sons, Ralph A. Lewis, Jr., Timothy L. Lewis, John F. "Jack" Leahy and wife, Kimberly, and Daniel P. Leahy; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. At Anne's request her remains were donated to medical science. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cozean Memorial Chapel.
