Ann Mae Price

Ann Mae (Richeson) Price of St. Louis, formerly of Farmington, passed away suddenly at 9 a.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2012, she was 91 years old. She was born on July 27, 1921 at Potosi, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Judson and Fannie Myrtle (Moore) Richeson, two sisters and six brothers. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 53 years, Claude S. Price. Ann was a loving and devoted wife and mother of four children, Sandy and (Roger) Brooks of Conway, AR, Pat and (Marty)Wilcox of St. Louis, Rick and ( Kim) Price of Cape Girardeau, and Randy and (Heather) Price of Rogersville, MO. She has nine grandchildren, Pete Price, Tommy Ransom, Austin Price, Adam Price, Ashley Wilcox, Claudia Price, Samantha Brooks, Bailey and Gavin Reed and numerous nieces and nephews. Ann raised her family in Crestwood, MO, and then relocated to Poplar Bluff, MO in 1975. She and Claude owned and operated a motel, restaurant, and gas station for ten years, before retiring to their home in Farmington, MO. Ann devoted her entire married life to her husband, children, and grandchildren whom she loved so much. She resided at the Quarters at Des Peres in St. Louis for the past two years. Ann will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Tuesday, November 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. until the time of the service beginning at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with the Reverend Wayne Gibson officiating. Interment will be at 2:15 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
