FARMINGTON - Andrew "Pete" Tinker of Farmington passed away December 28, 2018 at Camelot Nursing Center at the age of 85. He was born August 21, 1933 in Farmington to the late Charles and Mamie (Coffel) Tinker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Tinker, his second wife, Lavon Tinker, his daughter, Terri Tinker, sisters, Ella Cruse and Margie Sales, brothers, Fred "Fritz" Tinker, Charles "Emmitt" Tinker Jr., Clarence "PJinks" Tinker, John "Big Boy" Tinker and Welton "Skinny" Tinker, daughter in law, Mary Tinker, and son in law, George Kelley. Pete proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean Era. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and skeet shooting. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Pete is survived by his children, Mark (and wife Mary) Tinker of Doe Run and Cynthia Kelley of Farmington, grandchildren, Demetra (and husband Steve) Whitehead, Mary Ayers, Melissa (and husband Eric) Hull, Angela Johnson, Steve (and wife Ann) Tinker, Christopher Tinker, Joseph Snyder, Scott (and wife Jen) Snyder, Michael Didier, Amy (and husband Jason) Fitzgerald, and Adam (and wife Kayla) Nichols, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, sister, Marie Edgar of Farmington, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call on Saturday, December 29 from 1:00pm until time of service at 4:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel.
