Alvin "Chub" Moran

Alvin "Chub" Moran, of Farmington passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 5, 2016 at the age of 87. He was born May 26, 1928 in Flat River to the late Hosea and Ellen (Fadler) Moran. In addition to his parents, Chub was preceded in death by one brother, Vivert Moran and a sister, Theresa Click.

Chub was a proud Air Force veteran serving from 1952 until 1954. He was a life long resident of the area and worked as a farmer and heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Bea Moran; two sons, Mark (Diana) Moran and Kenneth (Linda) Moran, all of Farmington; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a chosen family, Sisca and Troy Sanders of Springfield, Illinois.
