Almeta Ellen "Pete" Cunningham of Farmington passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, at the age of 90 years. She was born on October 16, 1916, at Desloge, the daughter of the late Adrian J. and Martha (Bone) Holt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenwood Cunningham, a daughter, Faye Perkins, five sisters, Alberta Holt, Imogene Hahn, Lillian Govreu, Meredith Heavel, and Betty Baum, and a brother, William Holt. Mrs. Cunningham enjoyed being on her bowling team. She was always interested in her family, and especially liked telling them stories about her life. She is survived by a grandson, William Perkins of McGee, MO, two granddaughters, Tina Diggs of Fredericktown and Tanya Phillips of Farmington, a sister, Helen Gibson of Farmington, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and special caregiver, Glenda Wampler of Farmington. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, with a funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
