Alma Winch

FARMINGTON Alma Rose Winch of Farmington passed away March 20, 2018 at the age of 89. She was born October 20, 1928 to the late James Chesley Head and Edith Irene (Martin) Head. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Winch in 1993, her son, Larry Winch, her brothers, Larry Head and Delmar Head, sisters, Dorothy Boyd, Ruby Bloom and Ethel Head, and son in law, Michael Stricklin

Alma was a long time member of Pine Log Church where she took pleasure in singing, dinners and fellowship. She adored her grandchildren and was happiest when they were around. She enjoyed reading, sewing, painting and embroidery.

Survivors include her son, Dennis Winch of Coffman, four daughters, Diana (Cecil) Gore of Farmington, Brenda Stricklin of Farmington, Lauren Abella of Farmington and Susan (Bob) Barber of Farmington, daughter in law, Cathy Winch of Farmington, fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and two sisters, Mary June (Nelson) Stone of Jackson and Doris Jean Jenkerson of Farmington.

Friends may call onThursday, March 22, 2018 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday morning beginning at 7 a.m. followed by the service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel.
