Alice Bammann

Alice Bammann Alice Irene Bammann of Farmington passed away on September 17, 2006 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center at the age of 85 years. She was born on February 5, 1921 in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Otto F. and Clara Belle (Janis) Bammann. Ms. Bammann worked in the clerical department at Yellow Freight for many years. She was a member of the Sarah Barton Murphy DAR and the St. Francois County Historical Society. She is survived by special caregivers, Virginia Chapman, Beth Upchurch, and Mary Ellen Halbrook, all of Farmington, her friends at Presbyterian Manor, and many other friends. A graveside service will be held at Zion Cemetery in St. Louis at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2006. Memorials may be directed to Presbyterian Manor. Arrangements are under the direction of Cozean Memorial Chapel.
