FARMINGTON -Alfred "Al" Warenberg of Farmington passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at Camelot Nursing and Rehab Center at the age of 61 years. He was born May 23, 1954 in St. Louis son of the late Leon and Hildegard (Schumacher) Warenberg. Alfred proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and enjoyed his time in the service and all the places he traveled particularly White Sands, New Mexico. He was a faithful member of the Parkland Chapel in Farmington. He enjoyed military history, especially Civil War and World War II history. He also enjoyed military documentary and reenactment films. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including his wife Linda Marie (Herman) Warenberg of Farmington, two daughters, Alana Warenberg and Shana Warenberg both of Farmington, a brother, Martin Warenberg of Ladue, two sisters Doris Chojnacki of Fishers, IN and Ingrid (& Mike) Morris of Aurora, CO, and numerous other relatives and many dear friends. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Mike Harrison officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Memorials, if desired, may be made to The Parkland Chapel or Voice of the Martyrs.
