Alfred 'Al' 'Tongo' Thomas Tong

FARMINGTON Al "Tongo" Thomas Tong, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on May 24, 2023, at John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis at the age of 69. He was born on December 3, 1953, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, to the late Jack and Chloe (Elliott) Tong. Al is survived by his wife, Susan (Di Domenico) Tong, his son, Nicholas Tong and family, his stepdaughter, Sally Nestor and family, his sisters, Chloella, Jacque, and Nancy, his special service dog, Duquesne along with many friends. Al proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, train models, indoor plants, and enjoying the ease of life and people. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel.
