FARMINGTON Agnes Marie Davis of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on December 3, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 95. She was born on December 26, 1925, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Joseph and Dorothea (LaChina) Stallone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Charles "Chuck" Albert Davis who passed away November 2, 2021, her daughter, Jacquelyn Davis Reed, and her sisters, Ann (the late Carl) Pitti, Mary (the late Freeman) Davis, and Antoinette (the late Bill) Long, along with two infant brothers, Cataldo Stallone. Agnes is survived by her children, Sandy (husband, Andy) Romano of St. Louis, Jan (husband, Hank) Kinsey of Bonne Terre, and Charley Davis of St. Petersburg, FL, her grandchildren, Jessica Carroll, Joe (wife, Kirstin) Riffee, Jim Riffee, Nick (wife, Lauren) Romano, and Jenna (husband, Dustin) Clark, great grandchildren, Danny Carroll, Jada Riffee, Hailey, Allison, and Logan Clark, her brother-in-law, Jim (the late Doris) Davis, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Along with being a wonderful wife and mother, Agnes held countless jobs from home while raising her children. For over 20 years, she worked at Famous Barr, where she was the first woman salesperson in the mens suit department. She was a faithful Christian and was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Agnes and her husband, Chuck raised Arabian horses and black angus cattle on their 160-acre farm. She enjoyed participating in horse shows and dancing with Chuck at the Casa Loma ballroom. It was a Davis tradition spending countless hours at the kitchen table with her family and friends visiting, reminiscing, and solving the challenge of the day; she loved her quiet time watching the birds in the morning while sharing coffee. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, and anyone who knew her loved her. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 2:00pm at Calvary Cemetery, 5239 West Florissant Avenue, St Louis with Father Rickey Valleroy officiating.
