Abbielee Sherrill

FARMINGTON- Abbielee Sherrill, of Farmington, passed away on November 14, 2012 at the age of 84. She was born January 28, 1928 at Flat River, daughter of the late John Franklin and Ella Koen (Moore) Sherrill. She was also preceded in death by brothers James A. Koen, Alfred Sherrill, and Charles Sherrill, and sisters Geraldine Horton and Helen Shamie. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her her including a sister Irene White, a special niece Mary (John) Hickman of Doe Run, sister-in-law Barbara Sherrill and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Abbielee lived for many years in St. Louis, MO and was a member of the Third Baptist Church of St. Louis. She was a secretary for, and retired from the business office of the Moolah Shrine Temple in St. Louis. A graveside service will be held today, Friday November 16, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington with Chaplain Jacob Pollard officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
