Mr. Cozean is a fourth-generation funeral director. He learned the art of conducting funerals from his father and grandfather. He is also active in community service, and is a past president of the Missouri Funeral Director's Association.
A native of Kennett, MO Dan moved to Farmington in 1989 where he graduated in 1990 and attended Mineral Area college. Dan has resided in Farmington for the past 23 years. He is married with two children and they are members of the First Baptist Church of Farmington. Dan entered the funeral profession joining the Cozean Team in 2003 , and became General Manager in 2011. Some of his civic clubs are the American Legion, St. Francois County Rotary Club, Farmington Chamber of Commerce, Farmington DDA, Habitat for Humanity, Backstoppers, and is also a member of Missouri Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association, Cremation Association of North America. In his free time Dan enjoys Fishing & watching his daughters activities.
A native of the Parkland area, Embalmer-Funeral Director Patrick Weiss joined the Cozean Team in 2006. Patrick has worked in the funeral industry since 1998, working in St. Francois, Jefferson and Livingston counties. Twice awarded the MoFDA scholarship, he earned his Associate of Applied Science in Funeral Service Education from St. Louis Community College at Forrest Park where he graduated near the top of his class. Since joining our team, he has furthered his professional education by attending the Fountain National Academy of Professional Embalming Skills and seminars offered by Master Embalmer, Matt Smith, he is also the current vice president and the president elect of the Southeast Missouri Funeral Director's Association and a member of the American Society of Embalmers
A native of Carthage, Missouri, Deanna Roberts has been employed as a funeral director at Cozean Memorial Chapel since May of 2009. She arranges and oversees many of the funeral arrangements at Cozean Chapel. Deanna was previously a lead director for a Springfield, Missouri funeral home.

Roy Haynie was a long-time resident of Advance, MO., where he worked for a funeral home for a number of years. Since moving to Farmington he has joined our visitation team and he also assists with funeral services.
Larry Lacey is a lifetime resident of the Farmington area. For the past 26 years he has been working for the Farmington Police Department, where he has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant. He has also worked at Cozean Chapel on a part-time basis for the past five years and has recently passed the first part of his exams to become a licensed funeral director.

Mr. Larmer is another family member who is devoted to the funeral profession. A retired school teacher, Jim works at visitations and funerals and is also in charge of our lawns and flower gardens.
